“To everything there is a season, and a time for every matter or purpose under heaven” (Ecclesiastes 3:1).
Naturally, we tend to rely or depend on others for our own happiness. Some are depending on others to help them start a business; to help them bring joy in their marriage, etc. I’ve learned that, there are people that God brings into our lives for a season and a reason. They are there to help us go through a certain season; but too often, we tend to become too dependent on them; thinking they are there forever. One of the hardest things to accept in life is that not everyone is meant to be in your life forever. When one door closes, it’s a sign that God is ready to open a better one.
Don’t be surprised, if your relationship didn’t work out. Their part in the story was only for that season. God has moved them from your life, for your own growth. Your child-hood friends; might not be your friends when you’ve grown up. Don’t stress about it, they were meant for your child-hood season. Don’t try to convince someone to stay, when they willingly walked out of you. When that man or that woman left; you have a choice to either stay in bitterness, hold grudges; or you can bless them and rise up to a new door God is opening before you.
You can try to convince them to stay; but one way or the other, they will eventually leave. Don’t try to make somebody love you or like you. You’re too special for that! The scripture says you are “fearfully and wonderfully made” (Psalm 139:14), by God. I’ve learned that if you don’t let the wrong people go, the right people won’t come. It’s not important how many people you have on your side; but what’s important is: Do you have the right ones? Yes, I know that it’s painful to part ways with somebody that you’ve dependant on for some time. It’s not easy to pick-up the pieces and move on; but God allows you to go through these season for your own growth. The scripture says “… joy comes in the morning” (Psalm 30:5).
If you can wake-up early in the morning before sunrise; you’ll realize that, it’s always a bit dark before dawn. This darkness is formed by the mist, but the same fog cannot prevent the sun to rise. That tells me, it doesn’t matter how much disappointment you’ve gone through; that dark season will never prevent joy to come your way. The sun will eventually rise, you will laugh again. Life is too short to be wasted in bitterness. Be vigilant, because God is about to open a new chapter in your life. Their part was only for that season. Expect God to show up early in your Life! Enjoy a fresh new beginning and have a very Blessed day.
